Update: The RCMP have completed the investigation into the death of an 18-year-old former Rosetown resident who was found in a field just outside of Rosetown. After informing the family of the results of the investigation and cause of death, the family has consented to the release of their family member's name to the media. Results of the autopsy and the investigation have ruled out foul play in the death of Dana Chantel Lemaige. The cause of her death will not be released
The body of an 18-year-old woman was found in a field near Highway 7 just east of Rosetown Saturday.
RCMP say the body was discovered at approximately 11 a.m.
The Rosetown detachment, Major Crimes Unit Â鶹´«Ã½AV, Forensic Identification Section, Saskatoon Traffic Services and Saskatoon General Investigation Section spent the weekend investigating.The investigation team has interviewed several of the woman's friends and family to establish where she was and what she was doing prior to her death. At this time foul play has not been ruled out and the investigation continues.
An autopsy has been set forTuesday and thename of the woman will not be released pending notification of the family.
