RCMP are once again calling on the public for assistance in locating a person missing since June from Red Pheasant First Nation.

They are trying to locate Ronald Peequaquat, age 46, who went missing June 25.

Peequaquat was last seen leaving a residence on the First Nation and was going to allegedly hitchhike to North Battleford.

He was wearing either a blue windbreaker jacket or a red plaid lumberjack-style jacket, a blue Edmonton Oilers jersey and a green Saskatchewan Roughriders hat. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall and approximately 220 pounds.

He has a cell phone that has not been used since he disappeared and he has not accessed his bank accounts. He has family ties to Edmonton, Saskatoon and Yellow Quill First Nation, as well as North Battleford.

Battlefords RCMP say they received several tips but none that have led to any solid leads in the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to come forward and contact the Battlefords RCMP Detachment.
