North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services responded to two simultaneous fire instances on Saturday night. The calls came in around 11pm that night.
One call reported smoke coming from a bathroom in the Legion Hall on 100th Street. The building was occupied at the time of the incident.
The structure was evacuated until the cause was determined, In the end it was determined that the cause was a malfunctioning ceiling fan inside the bathroom.
The second call was a report of smoke in the alleyway on the 1400 block of 108th Street, but it was determined that the source of the smoke was due to a dumpster fire in the alley. No damage was reported from that incident.
Also on the scene for both incidents was WPD Ambulance and the RCMP.
