North Battleford Fire and Emeergency Services have deemed suspicious a shed fire that happened in the city Sept. 24 at 3:55 a.m.
According to the fire department, the blaze started in the shed located on the 1300 block of 106th Street. The shed and its contents were destroyed. As well, there was damage to the single car garage and portable garage across the alley from the shed.
Three apparatus and 12 fire personnel fought the blaze for an hour. Also on the scene was RCMP. No injuries were reported.
The fire is still under investigation.
In addition, NBFES was called to a grass fire in a back yard around the 900 block of 106th Street around 2:36 p.m. that day. According to the fire department the blaze melted the siding on the house and burned some of the fence.
Two apparatus and three personnel were on the scene for about 20 minutes. No injuries were reported.
