Friday afternoon, before 1 p.m., a semi with two flat deck trailers was struck crossing the railroad tracks by a train on Territorial Drive at the northwest corner of North Battleford.
Due to the collision, Territorial Drive is blocked from 19th Avenue and at the underpass near King Hill.
Railway Avenue is blocked at Greise Street. It appears the street closures will last for several hours and detours will be used, as crews begin cleanup at the sight.
At the scene police wouldn't confirm if the driver of the semi sustained injuries from the accident.
