A search and rescue operation at Turtle Lake tuned out happily for the family of a four-year-old boy when wandered away from his home in a wooded area on the northwest side of the lake late Thursday Afternoon.
After about three hours the boy emerged from the bush at a nearby residence while a search involving all members of the Turtleford detachment and volunteers on foot, in vehicles, including ATVs, and on horseback, was being conducted.
The RCMP have expressed their appreciation to all those who pitched in to help search for the boy.
