SaskTel Centre home to Saskatoon's 93rd annual Remembrance Day Service

SaskTel Centre saw a near-capacity crowd in attendance for 93rd annual Remembrance Day Service in Saskatoon.

SASKATOON - Saskatoon's 93rd Annual Remembrance Day Service was held at SaskTel Centre, welcoming thousands of attendees. Prelude music was presented by combined Saskatoon orchestral groups. Various officiants led the service and prayers while everyone stood for the chimes at 11 a.m., the last post, two minutes of silence, lament and rouse. 

Saskatoon had a number of other activities take place Nov. 11 that included a remembrance at Memorial Gates near Royal University Hospital, the Saskatoon Chamber singers at Knox United Church, the Saskatoon Police Pipes and Drums performed at Legion Branch 63 while the Saskatoon Museum of Military Artifacts held a Remembrance Day Commemoration Open House.
