Stolen snowmobiles, tools and illegal drugs were three things RCMP discovered at a house near LeRoy last week.
RCMP members from Lanigan and Wadena detachments executed a search warrant on an acreage approximately two kilometres north east of the town of LeRoy around 6 p.m. on March 3 after receiving information on a break, enter and theft case from the Wadena detachment area.
Numerous items listed as stolen from that residence near Fishing Lake were located at the house near LeRoy, including televisions, chainsaws, winches, gas cans, fishing tackle and tools, just to name a few, noted Cpl. Ray Zillich of the Lanigan RCMP.
Members also recovered two snowmobiles, also stolen from the Wadena area, and seized some "plant-like material believed to be cannabis marijuana," along with cultivation devices and possible drug paraphernalia from the house, Zillich reported.
As of press time, the two occupants renting the residence were being sought by the RCMP for further information.
A third participant was arrested a day before the search and lodged in cells at the Humboldt RCMP Detachment.
The Lanigan, Humboldt and Wadena RCMP continue to investigate this matter.
Zillich said they will provide more details as those responsible are questioned and the identity of those responsible for the possession of these stolen items is clarified.
