RCMP investigating homicide on Moosomin First Nation

The death of Catlin Frenchman from Moosomin First Nation has been determined to be a homicide.

Shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, North Battleford RCMP received a report of an altercation at a residence at Moosomin First Nation. Police officers and EMS responded and located an injured man outside the residence.

Thirty-year-old Catlin Frenchman from Moosomin First Nation was pronounced deceased at the scene and his family has been notified. His death has been determined to be a homicide.

RCMP Major Crime Unit North continues to investigate with the assistance of North Battleford RCMP, Saskatchewan RCMP General Investigation Section, RCMP Police Dog Services, RCMP Forensic Identification Services and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
