The Lloydminster Rural RCMP Detachment is improving its service for response to matters occurringbetween the Alberta-Saskatchewan border and Lashburn and the North Saskatchewan and Battle Rivers.
The contact number has been changed to 306-825-RCMP (7267). It is hoped this new number will limit the number of calls received by the Lloydminster Municipal Detachment, which have to be forwarded appropriately.
Should the call at 825-7267 not be taken by a staff member, callers can select "option 1" for emergencies in which case the call will be transferred to an operator in the RCMP provincial dispatch. Other options are available for non-emergency messages and 911 services are still in effect for emergencies anywhere.
