An investigation is under way into a report of pedestrians being struck by a truck on the Red Pheasant First Nation Aug. 30.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Battlefords RCMP and an ambulance were sent to the reserve to respond to the call about the collision.
According to police, a vehicle was stopped along the roadway as three males were attempting to start a motorcycle. An oncoming truck, driven by a lone male, collided with the motorcycle. Police say two men were injured as a result of the collision, and were transported by the driver of the truck to meet with the ambulance.
Police say alcohol was not a factor in the collision and that the investigation is ongoing.
