Around 11 p.m. Aug. 11, Prince Albert RCMP was conducting patrols when they encountered a single vehicle collision involving an SUV and a pedestrian that had just occurred approximately 3.5 kilometers south of Spruce Home, Sask., on Highway 2.
Medical assistance was provided on scene, but the adult female pedestrian died on scene.
The adult female driver of the SUV remained on scene. No other injuries were reported.
Prince Albert RCMP and RCMP Collision Reconstruction continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. RCMP would like to thank EMS and the local Fire Department for their assistance on scene.
