ONION LAKE CREE NATION — Residents of Onion Lake Cree Nation are being asked to conserve water due to a break in the main water line for the community.
Buildings and homes in the Ekweskeet to Meridian area, Molson Hill, North Subdivision and Pahtayken T to Harland areas are affected.
Until repairs have been completed to restore water services to all areas of the community, residents are asked to only use water for essential purposes such as drinking, cooking, personal hygiene and flushing toilets.
The band office stated that staff are working to restore water as quickly as possible to the affected areas.
