No inquest. That's the ruling from the Office of the Chief Coroner in regard to the death of a woman at the Humboldt airport last summer, reported CBC News.
The 40-year-old woman from the Annaheim area walked into an airplane propeller at the Humboldt airstrip on August 20.
She had gone for a ride in a single-engine Cessna 201 to celebrate her 40th birthday.
She got out of the plane after landing, moved toward the front of the plane, and walked into the blade while the engine was still running, stated a report from the Office of the Chief Coroner. It is believed she was attempting to take a photo. She sustained a severe head injury from coming into contact with the rotating propeller.
The same report from the Chief Coroner calls the death an accident.
The name of the woman has not been released.
