The Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Battlefords are now at a new location with a spectacular view of the city.
The new offices are at office No. 703, 1101-101st St., on the seventh floor of the RBC Tower.
According to program co-ordinator Valerie Montgomery-Bull the move was made as the organization outgrew its former location - a house located at 1372 -103rd St.
Time spent on building and grounds maintenance can now be devoted to the services Big Brothers and Big Sisters provides.
"The location is excellent here, right downtown," Montgomery-Bull said.
The new offices were open to the public between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday as part of an open house. Montgomery-Bull said the day was " an awareness day - this is where we are located now, come and see us."
She said the organization is still on the lookout for volunteers for the many activities they have going in the community, and welcomes applications for any new kids who might be interested in the service.
Applications for big brothers and big sisters were made available at the new offices. As well, activities are planned in the coming weeks including the annual Bowl for Kids Sake, being held March 26 in North Battleford.
