Napa Auto Parts/J.K.P. Farm Supply Ltd. has been named the 2011 Battlefords Business Excellence Heritage Award recipient.
The heritage category winner is the only recipient of the annual Battlefords Chamber of Commerce BBEX awards to be announced prior to the gala evening May 10.
Finalists in six other categories have been announced, however.
The Business of the Year category has six nominees - Gold Eagle Casino, Gold Eagle Lodge, Marks Work Wearhouse, Norsask Farm Equipment Ltd and TNM Concrete Ltd.
Nominated for community contribution are Battlefords & District Co-operative Ltd, Re/Max of the Battlefords and WPD Ambulance.
Creative Interiors, Forest Hall Greenhosue and Garden Centre, Gold Eagle Casino, Marks Work Wearhouse, McGuffy's News Inc. and Realty Solutions AKL Ltd. have been nominated in the marketing category.
Customer service nominees are Alumi Glass Service (1983) Ltd, Apple Auto Glass (D & L Auto Glass), Fountain Tire, Pleasant View Grooming and Pet Vacations and Prairie Employment Program Inc.
The sole nominee in the Export Achievement category is Elias Manufacturing Ltd.
The New Business Venture award will go to either McGuffy's News Inc. or Pure Essence Studio.
Nominees and award winners in all categories will be honoured Tuesday, May 10 at the Gold Ridge Center.
