Twenty-one-year-old Colin Leonard Starr appeared in North Battleford Provincial court Wednesday charged with armed robbery in relation to an incident in the city Monday.
Starr is charged with armed robbery, disguise with intent, participation in activities of a criminal organization, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, dangerous driving,and flight from police.
Three men and 17-year-old woman were arrested immediately following an armed robbery investigation by Battlefords RCMP into an incident that occurred around 10:15 Monday.
Police say a victim was robbed at knifepoint. The victim was not injured but was threatened. The suspects then fled in a vehicle.
A short time later RCMP members located a vehicle matching the description. Members attempted to stop the vehicle and it took off. Police say abrief pursuit ensued, the vehicle stopped and all the occupants ran away on foot. They were all located and arrestedwith the assistance of the Battlefords police dog section.
