Motorcycle crash on Spadina proves fatal

A 41-year-old male has died after a motorcycle struck a guardrail and light standard.

SASKATOON — Saskatoon police say traffic restrictions have been lifted and members of the SPS Collision Analyst Unit continue to investigate following a fatal motorcycle collision on Sunday.

At approximately 4 p.m. on June 23, police responded to a report of the collision in the 900 Block of Spadina Crescent East. Officers located the 41-year-old male driver suffering from what were believed to be life-threatening-injuries. He was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Police say thaty believe the motorcycle was driving at a high speed before it lost control and struck a guardrail and a light standard.

The Saskatoon Police Collision Analyst Unit is continuing to investigate.
