The list of candidates running in local constituencies in the provincial election grew last week.
In the Arm River-Watrous riding, where just one candidate had filed their papers a day after the writ was dropped, there are now a total of three candidates running, according to the Elections Saskatchewan register of potential candidates.
Kelsey Pearson is running for the Green Party of Saskatchewan, and Eric Skonberg for the New Democratic Party (NDP).
The incumbent MLA for that riding is Greg Brkich of the Saskatchewan Party, who is seeking re-election.
In the riding of Batoche, Amber Jones is running for the Green Party, challenging incumbent Delbert Kirsch of the Sask. Party and Janice Bernier of the NDP.
In the Humboldt riding, Elections Saskatchewan has Jennifer Brooke Fox running for the Green Party, but according to the Green Party website, their Humboldt candidate is Dr. Lynn Oliphant.
Oliphant will be facing incumbent Donna Harpauer of the Sask. Party and Gordon Bedient of the NDP on the ballot in Humboldt.
And in Melfort, Melvyn Pylypchuk is listed as running for the Green Party of Saskatchewan, challenging Dr. Ivan Yackel of the NDP and Kevin Phillips of the Sask. Party.
