Man facing weapons-related charges following Saskatoon incident

Report comes in of man walking with a weapon.
SASKATOON - A man has been charged related to a weapons complaint in Saskatoon.

At about 3:50 p.m. on July 25 police were called to the intersection of Fairlight Drive and Fairmont Drive for a weapons complaint.

Further information stated there were three males at the location, and one had been observed walking with a firearm.

When they arrived, police found three people matching the descriptions of the suspects.

The suspects were then arrested. When police searched them, they found an imitation firearm located on one of the men. Police determined he was also found to be breaching court-ordered conditions.

As a result, a 26-year-old man is facing charges in relation to possession of a weapon, concealing a weapon, as well as failure to comply with court-ordered conditions.
