NORTH BATTLEFORD - The Western Development Museum North Battleford is bringing back Light Up the Village for another year, and has announced the presenting sponsor for this year.
Battleford Furniture has been named the presenting sponsor for this year’s holiday display of lights and decorations in the WDM Heritage Village.
“It is a pleasure and honour to support the WDM and Light Up the Village,” said Chris Odishaw, proprietor of Battleford Furniture, in a news release.
“We all need a little ‘light’ in our lives right now during these crazy times! Grab some family, grab some friends, take your mom and dad, take your kids … Enjoy a little light with the ones that you love.”
“The WDM North Battleford is grateful for the support from Battleford Furniture," said Shirley Maze, Light Up the Village co-ordinator, in a statement. “This event has become an annual tradition for North Battleford and area and thanks to their generous support, the Heritage Village will shine even brighter!”
Light Up the Village will take place from Dec. 1 to Jan. 7. It will run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. nightly excluding statuatory holidays. The price is $10 per car and $40 per bus/large group. A season pass is $30 each (valid for one family) while an evening pass is $10 each (valid for one evening).
