The St. Walburg detachment of the RCMP is investigating a fatal industrial accident 30 kilometres north of Glaslyn along Highway 4.
Late Wednesday afternoon, RCMP in Turtleford received a 911 call to go to an asphalt plant north of Glaslyn.
The police found a male not breathing, who had been involved in a construction siteaccident. According to the RCMP, both CPR and life saving techniques were administered prior to the arrival of the ambulance and police. The injured male was pronounced dead at the scene.
Occupational Health and Safety and the RCMPcontinue to look into this incident and the investigation is ongoing.
