HUMBOLDT — Humboldt RCMP are looking for a thief who’s stealing catalytic converters right off of parked vehicles.
Police said during the weekend of Feb. 26, a catalytic converter was removed off a commercial truck parked on a service road north of the Humboldt Hospital. That same weekend a second catalytic converter was removed off a car that was parked in a parking stall on the south side of the Uniplex.
Removal of the catalytic converter would have had required the thief go underneath the vehicle for removal, RCMP said. The value of these items is around $400 each.
