HUMBOLDT 鈥� Humboldt will not change how it issues proclamations.
The issue came to the forefront after the City of Yorkton announced it would not issue proclamations for any organization. They said they did this because it makes the process equitable for all organizations and saves time at council.
The City of Humboldt focuses its proclamations for local organizations and causes.
鈥淲e feel that what we're doing in Humboldt is a good way to promote organizations and groups in our community that are doing good work,鈥� said Rob Muench, Humboldt鈥檚 mayor.
