The RCMP have taken down a major marijuana grow operation in the Waseca area.
Lloydminster rural and Maidstone RCMP, assisted by the North Battleford police dog section, acted on a search warrant on April 20 at the hamlet, located 20 km west of Maidstone.
Police entered the residence and found some 40 marijuana plants in various stages of development.
RCMP have arrested Randall Henry Braun, 45, of Waseca in connection to the case. Braun is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a narcotic.
He is to appear in Lloydminster provincial court June 28.
