LA RONGE - A 13-year-old girl who assaulted two young children in a wooded area in La Ronge was given 18 months probation.
The young offender – who can’t be identified in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act – was originally charged with aggravated assault. On Jan. 20 she pleaded guilty in La Ronge Provincial Court to the lesser charge of assault causing bodily harm.
