G & C Asphalt Ltd is again supporting Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation's Festival of Trees Ladies' Night as the silver sponsor of the evening.

This is the third year G & C Asphalt Ltd has sponsored the Festival of Trees Ladies' Night and their generosity to BUH Foundation goes back over 11 years with their continued commitment and support of enriching patient care through the purchase of medical equipment and funding of staff education at BUH.

BUH Foundation's 2011 Festival of Trees fundraising efforts have been allocated to purchase monitors and IV pumps for emergency, the chemotherapy unit, surgical floor, and the Women's Health and Birthing Centre at BUH. This equipment is vital in ensuring and sustaining the health of patients in critical situations, according to a BUHF press release.

"The 2010 Ladies' Night was a very successful fundraising evening, and with G & C Asphalt's continued support the 2011 Ladies' Night is sure to be successful," said Deb Wohlberg and Brenda Sparrow, chairs of Ladies' Night.

Paul and Diane Gervais founded G & C Asphalt Ltd in Alberta in 1977 and moved the company home to North Battleford in 1984. Paul continues to work with the company as a general manager and is working directly with area manager Ryan Moe. G & C Asphalt Ltd continues to be a family and community oriented business, generously giving back to the community they serve.

BUH Foundation's Festival of Trees Ladies Night will be held at the Gold Ridge Centre Thursday, Nov. 24 starting at 5 pm. For tickets call 446-6652.
