Update: The Prince Albert Police Service continues to work to locate Dwight Whitehead and is issuing a second request for information to help find him.
Investigators have determined that Dwight was last seen in the area around the 1200 Block of 24th Street West shortly after 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2. Whitehead is 5-foot-8, 180 pounds, has very short hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Prince Albert Police at 306-953-4222.
PRINCE ALBERT – The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) requests the public's assistance in locating a First Nations man who has been missing since Jan. 1.
Thirty-two-year-old Dwight Whitehead was last seen by friends on New Year's Eve around 2 a.m. walking away from the Comfort Inn hotel located at 3863 2nd Avenue West in Prince Albert. Dwight's family has been conducting their own search in addition to the Prince Albert Police Service.
Dwight was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans and a hat. He was without his winter jacket and cell phone. FSIN is providing support to the family and has asked the media to share photos of Whitehead with the public to locate the man.
The Prince Albert Police Service say that Whitehead was reported missing to police on Jan. 8. He was last seen by family earlier this month.
Whitehead is described as being 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds. He has very short hair and brown eyes.
