Four suspects are under arrest following an early-morning home invasion in North Battleford Wednesday.
The incident happened around 12:44 a.m. Police received a 911 call from a residence on the 1100 block of 108th Street.
Members spoke to a 51-year-old who had been home watching TV at the time of the incident. According to police, the victim alleges several suspects broke into his house, struck him, threatened him with a knife and threw him to the floor. The suspects left the residence with a small amount of tobacco.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
Police were provided a description and made patrols ultimately located the four individuals who matched the description. They were arrested and the following charges have been laid:
Darwin Paul Andrew, 27, North Battleford - break and enter, robbery, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose;
Jordan Wayne Bugler, 20, Red Pheasant First Nation - break and enter and robbery;
Nikki Fernandez Kam, 28, Sweetgrass First Nation - break and enter, robbery and breach of probation;
Justin Kyle White, 20, Saskatoon - break and enter, robbery and wearing a disguise with intent to commit and offence.
The four individuals were to appear in provincial court in North BattlefordThursday at 9:30 a.m.
This investigation continues with assistance of the Battlefords Municipal GIS unit. Police say additional charges are being considered.
