As street maintenance continues, many drivers are still not respecting barricades. Today, a City of North Battleford worker was bumped by a vehicle that was driving where it shouldn't have been driving.
Fortunately, the worker sustained minor bruising and is still on the job, but the incident could have been much worse.
Friday afternoon, May 27, the Department of Public Works and Engineering is crack filling on 100th Street and working from north to south. As a result of today's incident and for the safety of City of North Battleford workers, all four lanes of traffic will be closed on whatever block they are working on.
Detours are in place and must be obeyed.
