Conservation officers asking for public's help after moose was shot on private property

It's believed the moose was harvested during the late evening of Aug. 26 or the early morning of Aug. 27.

ALVENA - The Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory; the Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety; and Conservation Officers Saskatchewan are asking for the public's help after a moose was shot on private land without consent.
 
On Aug. 27 at 7:46 p.m., conservation officers received a TIPP call reporting an unlawfully harvested moose, on private land southeast of the town of Alvena.
 
Officers attended the area and collected evidence. It is believed that the moose was harvested during the late evening of Aug. 26 or the early morning of Aug. 27.

Saskatoon conservation officers are requesting any information from the public that may aid in the apprehension of these individuals.
