Battlefords RCMP investigating armed robbery

The robbery appears to have been a targeted incident.

NORTH BATTLEFORD — Battlefords RCMP are investigating an armed  robbery in which a TV was stolen then abandoned.

Shortly after 10 p.m. the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 23, say RCMP, two suspects entered a home on the 1400 block of 112th Street in North Battleford. The two suspects were both described as being males, wearing masks and both had firearms in their possession.

RCMP say the suspects demanded cash from the occupants and fled with a television they removed from the residence. The television was recovered abandoned a short distance away.

The robbery appears to have been a targeted incident.

RCMP say no shots were reported to have been fired and no one was harmed during the incident.
