It was a great turnout at the Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce (HDCC) Trade Show this weekend.
Over 2,500 people came out to see the 150 different booths set up at the Humboldt Uniplex on November 5-6.
"We were very happy with the turnout," said DonnaLyn Thorsteinson, executive director of HDCC.
Although Humboldt saw its first snowfall of the season on November 6, that didn't stop people from flocking to the arena to see what businesses were showcasing.
"There was an increase in numbers (on Sunday) despite the weather," said Thorsteinson. "We had over 2,500 people attend over the entire weekend."
All the vendors were happy with the event and Thorsteinson said all she heard was good comments from both vendors and visitors.
"When vendors are happy, they come back the next year, so that is great," said Thorsteinson.
She was also excited to see a few businesses that were not from the Humboldt area.
"Most businesses and vendors were from Humboldt," said Thorsteinson. "The few people who were not from the area were interested in investing in Humboldt in the future ."
The HDCC was grateful for the support they saw from the community for this annual event.
"We'd like to thank all the volunteers and people who came out to see the show," said Thorsteinson.
