The two remaining suspects in the Gold Eagle Casino cheating case will see their matters back in court in November.
The lawyer for one of the accused, Ken Mark, entered pleas of not guilty in North Battleford Provincial Court to charges of cheating at play and theft charges. He returns to court Nov. 23 for a pretrial management conference.
Christopher Stone-Spyglass, faces the same charges but has not entered pleas. His case was adjourned to Nov. 1.
Both were among seven individuals charged in the card game cheating that occurred between October 2008 and January 2009. It has been alleged in those cases that during that time, the dealer falsely shuffled cards and flashed cards to players to give them an unfair advantage on games such as blackjack played at Gold Eagle Casino.
Of the five other individuals, charges against one were dropped while they were stayed against another. The other three received sentences ranging from conditional discharge to one-year probation, along with restitution orders and bans from entering the casino.
