Dana Standinghorn is a young artist taking part in the Creative Partnerships program through the Chapel Gallery in North Battleford.

She uses a variety of media to express her interpretation of the world around her. She has an exhibition on now until the end of July entitled Four Seasons in the Window Gallery at the Chapel Gallery. The gallery is hosting an opening reception for Standinghorn and Four Seasons Saturday, July 17 starting at 7 p.m.

Four Seasons highlights Standinghorn's recent works. The pieces portray vibrancy and strong emotions through the use of colour and texture. The show is a demonstration of Standinghorn's growth as an artist. She is a self-taught artist and, through the Creative Partnerships program, she has learned much about technique, use of colour and symbolism.

For more information contact the Chapel Gallery at 445-1757. Support for this program provided by the Saskatchewan Arts Board and the City of North Battleford.
