In its 67th year, Battlefords Community Players opened this season with Mom’s Gift, which finds Mom, who has been dead for 11 months, turning up at her husbands’ birthday party as a ghost on a mission. Like Clarence in It’s A Wonderful Life, she has to accomplish a task to earn her wings. Only what that task is, is a mystery. The cast features Jeanna Walker, Fraser Glen, Candice Brown, Rebecca Landon, Tanya Montoya and Gregory Kwong and is directed by Eleanor Voegeli. Show only performances were held Oct. 15, 16 and 17. Dinner theatre performances will be held Oct. 24, 25 and 26. New this year, all show times are 7:30 p.m.
