After working on new music for the past year, Yung C is back with a new album, No Remorse.
Yung C (Calvin Wuttunee) is hosting an album release party at the Gog on Thursday, March 29. The setlist will also feature Kjeltie Katherine, and artists with whom Wuttunee recently performed at the Everybody Has A Story performance earlier this month at the Dekker Centre: Lori Colvin, Eric Little Poplar, and Zayda.
Wuttunee grew up and went to high school in North Battleford, and currently lives on Sweetgrass First Nation.
Wuttunee made the album himself, including the production and rapping.
鈥淚 haven't been putting out anything for the past year, but now I鈥檓 here and I鈥檓 ready to go,鈥 Wuttunee said.
Wuttunee said it will be his second time performing at the Gog. North Battleford has opened many doors, and Wuttunee said he鈥檚 met many talented artists in the city.
He said the album should be enjoyed by those who like hip hop.
鈥淚f you love hiphop, I don鈥檛 think this album will let you down. This is something very very special. I鈥檝e been getting a lot of good feedback from my peers.鈥
