By the time this column is published it will be Hallowe'en. Hope everyone enjoys the day especially the children!
Monday was a holiday for the school students, giving them a long weekend.
Activities are in full swing at the Maidstone skating rink. Some Waseca young people took part in power skating on Saturday and some will be enjoying minor hockey.
Carol Sutherland spent last week in Prince Albert taking care of her granddaughter while her parents were busy with other activities.
Don't forget the fall supper in Waseca Hall on Sunday, Nov. 2. That is the same day as the time change. It will be nice to have an hour more daylight in the evening.
