As we near the foreboding final exams we are ever so busy at Maidstone High. June 1, the Grade 7 class left for their fieldtrip to Edmonton. Their itinerary included the science museum, IMAX and West Edmonton Mall.

The Grade 11 students left June 5 for their canoe trip and returned Wednesday. They all had unforgettable experiences.

June 7, Synergy Credit Union held a community appreciation event. Not only did the Maidstone Band perform there, they also received a whopping donation of $1,000 from Synergy. The Lashburn band was also given $1,000 while Marshall was presented with $500 for their community park project. Maidstone High (especially Mr. Bodnarek) sincerely thanks Synergy for their generous donation.

We would also like to congratulate all of the graduates of Maidstone High and wish them the best of luck in the future.

Awards day took place on June 15, where we honoured all of the students who have excelled and succeeded at our school.
