With harvest done, quilters reconvene

After missing a couple of quilting days due to harvest, our quilters met again Oct. 17. We will probably meet again on a regular basis again now that harvesting is completed.

Two of the group, Janet Makey and Bev Hult, travelled to Lloydminster Saturday and enjoyed the quilt show held at the Legacy Centre.

Arlee Lumgair spent last week at the home of her sister, Gail Morgan, in North Battleford. Gail is recovering from a bout of cancer so we were pleased to hear she is feeling better.

Bev Hult and her daughter Melissa enjoyed last week in Victoria, B.C. where they were guests of Agnes Lesyk. Besides visiting, they enjoyed some sightseeing. They also travelled to Nanaimo where they visited with a friend, former Waseca resident, Marcia Salzl.

We were pleased to have our flu shots Oct. 16th, in conjunction with our October Wellness Clinic.
