Wild temperature fluctuations take us into March

Forest Bank News

Our temperature is once more rising and falling quickly. Monday it was up to -5 C and two days before we had readings of lower than -20 C. Now, of course, we are into March, so is it coming in like a lamb?

Our sympathy goes out to the Silvester family on the recent death of their devoted wife and mother, Kendra. Kendra’s death came suddenly, a shock to all. Kendra was devoted to her husband, family, her parents, Jim and June Hope and her siblings and was always doing useful activities in the community. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. One could always count on a smile and a cheerful word from Kendra.

Gully Gus says, “A friend is one who is a source of sunshine when you are under the weather, one who strengthens you with love and encourages you with hope, one who answers when you call or who often answers before you call.â€
