After a number of good fall days, the weather Sunday was different. The temperature around noon was 21 C, but during the afternoon it cooled off considerably, the wind was very strong and there was a light shower of rain.
Fall is definitely here! The leaves are now showing their fall colours and are beginning to fall. We have not yet had a killing frost and there are still some crops out there waiting to be harvested.
Congratulations to TWB Construction as they celebrate more than 40 years of service in the area. Bill and Terry Pike are owners of the business that has grown considerably since they began over 40 years ago. They operate out of Maidstone Sept. 25, they celebrated their 40th anniversary with a noon meal for customers and friends and served an evening meal where they entertained their staff. We wish them continued success in their business.
