Crystal and Mark Thomarat travelled to Medicine Hat, Alta., recently to visit Jaimie Sutherland and his friend, Laurie.

Arlee Lumgair travelled to Maple Creek with friends Thursday. They spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning attending a programme which included cowboy poetry and music which consisted of gospel, old time and country and western singing. Sunday morning was time for a cowboy church service. They thoroughly enjoyed the weekend.

Arlee was pleased to hear that her grandson, Arlan Lumgair, was the winner of the junior steers' final at the rodeo held in Saskatoon last week. KYCA, the rodeo association, presented him with rodeo buckles. Arlan will soon be finished this year's rodeos and will be into other sports. Congratulations on your winnings, Arlan!

The monthly wellness clinics began again Sept. 15 after a one-month holiday. The next one will be held Oct. 16. By that time we should know when flu shots will be available.
