The Christmas Holidays are coming quickly and the school days are winding down. The last day of school is Dec. 21 and to celebrate the oncoming holidays we will be having a turkey lunch for our students. That morning we will be holding our honours ceremony, which everyone is welcome to attend. After our turkey lunch we will have a movie for the students of MHS. It will be a great day and a fun way to start the Christmas holidays.

This week our SLC is holding a food drive to support families in need in our community. All students are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items. There will be a competition between juniors and seniors to see who can donate the most. The winner will get free pop and popcorn for the movie afternoon. It is a great cause and we hope everyone will donate to help support out community this holiday season.

This is the last week to buy SADD iPad raffle tickets. They are three for $10 and all proceeds will be going back to our SADD chapter. Contact a SADD member or Maidstone High School if you are interested.

We would also like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season!
