The Allen Sapp Gallery will be the location for an event Sept. 12 called Tipi Teachings and Song.
Participants will be able to learn how to set up a tipi and learn what each tipi pole represents: they will also be able to enjoy a cup of tea and listen to the songs of the hand drum, and take a bannock snack home.
The sessions run between 1 and 2 p.m., 2 and 3 p.m. and 3 and 4 p.m. that day. Sessions are limited to 12 people, with COVID-19 screenings and precautions in effect. Masks are encouraged to be worn.
