Three concerts will come to the Battlefords in the next month and a half, either independently or for fundraisers.

The first will take place at Keith Bartlett's music studio at the Don Ross Centre, and will feature Elizabeth Shepherd. Elizabeth has performed twice previously in the Battlefords and this time she will perform as a trio. Because there is limited space at Keith's studio, tickets are limited, and can be purchased for $25 at NuFloors and Bee-J's Office Plus.

The second concert is a fundraiser for the Canadian Legion of Riders and will feature the Jack Semple Band. The CLR has been in the news over the last few years for their project to fund markers for the unmarked veterans' graves in the Battlefords area, and this concert will raise funds for that project. Semple has played in the Battlefords many times over the years, but has not been here recently. The concert will take place March 1 at 8 p.m. at the Dekker Centre, and the tickets can be purchased from either the Dekker Centre or Northern Auto Parts for $25.

Finally, Stephen Fearing, who has toured with both Andy White and Blackie and the Rodeo Kings will perform at the Gog March 4 at 8 p.m. There are very few tickets remaining for the show, and the few remaining tickets can be purchased by contacting Laird Brittin at [email protected].
