Maymont's Run for the Cure Boot Camp Girls winged their way to a $975 donation to support breast cancer research and awareness.

It was great to see everyone out who attended the potluck supper at the Maymont Seniors' Centre April 27. The evening's entertainment was by Mel Deagnon, Tom Caldwell, Bert Carpentier, Cindy Galley and Vivian Seib. A special thanks to Mary, Kari and Bert and Kay Greenslade who presented me with a birthday cake that evening.

Maymont's Run for the Cure Boot Camp Girls would like to thank everyone who came out to supporttheir efforts in raising money for breast cancer April 28. As a result of all the hard work and community support they were able to raise $975.

The girls are also hosting a steak supper June 24 at 6 p.m. at the Maymont Hotel. Again, all proceeds going to breast cancer. Only pre-sale tickets will be available for this event so please contact the Maymont Hotel or any of the Run for the Cure Boot Camp participants. Hope to see you there.

Special thanks for everyone who attended my birthday party April 30 at the Maymont Hotel. Thanks to Dawn Gray, Lana Spence and Tracey Pickering for the wonderful service they gave all the guests. They worked hard that evening. Also a special thanks to Pat Beaudoin for the lovely decorating she did.

Entertainment was great. Musicians came from miles around to entertain including Jon and Thelma from Wilkie, Doreen from North Battleford, Dave and Walter from Hafford, Murial and Kolan from Mayfair and local entertainers Mel, Tom and Bert.
