This week marks TD Canadian Children's Book Week, and a renowned children鈥檚 author will be touring Saskatchewan including North Battleford.
Cary Fagan will be touring the region until Friday, May 8. Last year the Writer's Trust of Canada awarded Fagan the Vicky Metcalf Award for Literature for Young People.聽
Fagan鈥檚 tour will include schools and libraries with performances sponsored by the Canada Council. The North Battleford stop is Thursday, May 7 1:30 p.m. at North Battleford Public Library.
TD Canadian Children's Book Week is a literary festival designed to bring books and reading to children across Canada.
A total of 29 Canadian children鈥檚 authors, illustrator and storytellers will be visiting schools, libraries and bookstores all over Canada through the week.
