Now that hockey season has gone by, many Waseca young people are taking part in badminton tournaments. Soccer and minor ball registrations will soon take place.
The family of Bev Hult hosted a birthday party for her at the Waseca Community Centre April 9. A surprised Bev was ushered into the Centre to whistles and the singing of "Happy Birthday". A sumptuous barbecue supper was enjoyed by all present, followed by an evening of music, singing and karaoke. Even Elvis Presley arrived and sang a song. It was a great evening of music and visiting.
The death of Karen Mack occurred last weekend following a battle with cancer. Our sympathy is extended to her partner, Toby Cochrane and their families. Funeral services are being held in Waseca Hall Wednesday afternoon, April 13.
