Sharon United Church had a great turn out for their spring supper which was held in the school gym April 21. Thank you to all who participated and also to the volunteers who helped with the supper and those who supplied the supper. It's always nice when the community gets together for any event.
Sonningdale library would like to thank all the people who came out April 20 for their ham supper, and bingo night, also those who helped with the supper and set up extra tables. Thanks for all the donations and to Donnie for calling the bingo numbers. Congratulations to all the winners.
Sonningdale was entertained at the seniors' center by County Cousins, April 21. People in the audience enjoyed a night of gospel music. Lorraine wants to thank those who brought the lunch and helped with the cleanup.
This was the time for suppers and potluck suppers. Ruddell held their potluck supper last week with a nice crowd and, again, delicious food. Thanks to everyone who organizes and helps with this event.
Someone in Maymont has a birthday coming up. We missed her picture last year for her 75th, but not this year, Mary. Happy birthday.
